As a comprehensive oncology medical center, Lancaster Cancer Center is committed to advancing medical knowledge through research. Investigators are involved in current clinical studies to test the effectiveness and safety of new therapies as well as to expand scientific and medical knowledge. It is important to understand, however that conventional therapy would never be replaced with a clinical trial if not medically appropriate or if a patient does not qualify for the study.
