Hyatt P. DeGreen III, DO (Tracy) is a board-certified medical oncologist. He treats all forms of cancers that affect adults and has a special interest in lung, gastrointestinal, and plasma cell disorders.

Dr. DeGreen served as Chief Intern at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach.

He joined Lancaster Cancer Center in 2009, which was founded by his father, Hyatt P. DeGreen II, MD (Peter), over 40 years ago. Today, Tracy is proud to be the owner of the only privately held oncology practice in Lancaster County. In 2021, he relocated the practice to 703 Lampeter Road. The space solidifies his dedication and commitment in continuing to provide the highest quality cancer care to the community.

Dr. DeGreen is a member of the Lancaster Community Oncology Collaborative, which is comprised of medical oncologists, nurses, and administrative leaders from his practice as well as from the Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute and Penn State Lime Spring Oncology. Together, their teams meet regularly to collaborate, support, and share information on caring for cancer patients, risk of infection, and keeping their staffs safe throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. DeGreen is also an active volunteer with the Healing Journey Foundation, the nonprofit organization that offers education, support, and advocacy to Lancaster Cancer Center patients and others in the community affected by cancer.

In his free time, he enjoys lifting weights, traveling, and spending time with his family. Dr. DeGreen lives on a small farm in Millersville with his wife, daughter, and their dogs.

“I am devoted to arming every patient and their loved ones with education, support, and the best care and treatment available. It’s my life’s work and the history of our practice.”

“Dr. DeGreen is one of the few genuinely caring, concerned, patient-oriented physicians I have been treated by in several years. He researches records and options during appointments, suggests solutions/tests for issues even when they are not related to the oncology field.
